Reimagine senior living at Givens Gerber Park, a vibrant, affordable community located in convenient South Asheville. The community will offer one and two bedroom rental apartments to seniors 55 and older. Amenities will include a café, fitness center, elevators, library/computer room, raised garden beds, medical clinic, tenant storage areas, and access to nearby grocery stores, pharmacies, and shopping. Residents will enjoy activities and services designed to help them remain healthy, engaged, and active. Rent will be determined by the household's income with broader income ranges than typically found in traditional affordable housing.  

Applications are being accepted for 60 Givens Gerber Park. If your income is above $25,800 for a single person or above $29,460 for two people, you may submit an application for 60 Givens Gerber Park.

Due to an overwhelming response and high number applications received, 40 Givens Gerber Park is not currently accepting applications for persons at/below $25,800 for a single person or at/below $29,460 for two people. Applications received before August 24, 2016 have been processed and added to the waitlist for 40 and 50 Givens Gerber Park. An announcement will be made when the waitlist reopens.

60 Gerber Road - Opening 2017

60 One Bedroom and 22 Two Bedroom apartments. This building is designed to serve seniors with incomes above $24,360. All apartments have dishwashers, disposals, washers, dryers, and microwaves. Monthly fees include rent, utilities, cable, internet, phone, maintenance, access to transportation, health and wellness programming, social services, community nurse, and meal dollars to spend in the Café. No one should fail to apply based on assumptions that their income is too low or too high.
